An amazing 1960’s Mid Century freestanding bar designed by Johannes Anderson, manufactured by Skaaning & Son of Denmark. This beautiful teak bar features decorative cross grained round inlay on the front and the back cabinet, sculpted finger pulls and brass foot rail. The top folds back creating a bar countertop and also flips down revealing a preparation area with contrasting black laminate. The prep area offers a mirrored back panel, mirrored interior prep, two floating glass shelves and nine inset bottle holders. The mid section is divided into three vertical storage cubbies with a divided center section. The center section has an adjustable height shelf and pull out teak tray behind a sliding door. The lower compartment drops down and opens to reveal 9 inset bottle holders. This piece exhibits exquisite craftsmanship, featuring detailed teak inlays. The attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship are rarely seen in manufacturing. All original excellent vintage condition, label on interior back panel. A sleek and simple cabinet with striking embellishments offer ample storage in a modest footprint. This piece is truly a show stopper and wonderfully proportioned.
