A pair of scissor chairs designed by Folke Ohlsson and made by Dux in Sweden in the 1960’s.

An absolutely stunning rare pair of mid-century modern styled Folke Ohlsson teak Scissor lounge chairs by renowned Swedish designer Folke Ohlsson for Dux of Sweden circa 1960’s. This is a time capsule quality teak wood with fabulous wood grains. Teak frames with detached cushions in new dark blue fabric. This set is in great condition with minor wear consistent with age such as scratches on the legs (see images) outfitted in newly dark blue colored upholstery by Maharam Upholstery Fabric Wool Remix by Kvadrat 90% Wool, 10% Nylon, wrapped in 4″ upholstery foam, on seat and 3″ foam on back webbing. Support straps beneath the chairs are in outstanding original tight condition, cushions and foam are brand new.  Loads of design details such as the stunning profile and splayed legs.
