A lovely Danish Mid-Century Modern teak credenza produced by Bernhard Pedersen & Son, circa 1960s. Truly the essence of Danish Modern with its clean lines, functional design and expert craftsmanship. With beautifully grained teak throughout, this credenza features skillfully crafted, smooth operating tambour doors that roll seamlessly into the back, adorned with sculpted handles. The doors open to reveal adjustable shelves on each side, one on the right and two on the left, allowing for plenty of storage options. Each shelf can be completely removed or adjusted up/down. The middle section features four pullout dovetail trays for added storage, two of which are felt lined. Makers’ mark (PBS M MADE IN DENMARK) is present in the right cabinet. Elegantly curved front edges create a unique “frame” for this stylish credenza. The base and legs are beautifully sculpted and provide strong, sturdy support. Eloquent lines and timeless design, this piece will add an element of sophistication to any room or setting. Perfect for a dining room in storing linens/serving pieces or positioned beneath a flat screen HDTV in a living or family room.
