Gorgeous Chinese brass mounted, black lacquered and mother of pearl inlaid side board, console cabinet. Features a rectangular top with upturned ends, that is inspired by a traditional altar table/cabinet as found in Chinese temples, above two drawers and two lower compartments with double doors and beautiful polished brass pulls, each open outward revealing removable shelves. Decorated in skillfully hand painted various hardstones, bone, and mother of pearl with Chinoiserie motifs of blossoming trees, and noble personages, standing on straight brass feet. This elegant eye- catching versatile piece with ample storage would be a stylish addition to any room in your home or office. It is in excellent original condition and very sturdy.
