Distinguished mahogany Colonial Revival block front bachelor’s chest of drawers by Councill Craftsmen, circa 1980s. Featuring a protruding ogee beveled top surface above four graduated cock beaded drawers fitted with brass reproduction Chippendale batwing bail pulls and matching brass faux-keyhole escutcheons. An elegant carved scrolled skirt and traditional bracket feet are below the ogee beveled bottom edge. Exceptional craftsmanship, very sturdy with dovetailed drawers and solid wood back. Excellent vintage condition with level drawers that open and close with ease. This quality chest will provide an attractive storage solution or accent piece in virtually any room of your home.
