Beautiful Mid-Century Modern expandable round dining table designed by Niels Koefoed for Koefoeds Hornslet, model “Lis” made in Denmark, circa 1960s. This stunning teak dining table features richly grained, gleaming teak and smooth, clean lines characteristic of classic Danish design, remaining in original condition throughout. This remarkable pedestal teak table rests on two V shape pedestal supports, connected by a stretcher, which provides stable support. and comes with two extension leaves to accommodate extra seating, transforming seating capacity from four to six or eight, extending up to 95 1/2″, the connection beneath releases to allow the table to slide open and accept two drop-in extension leaves (available). Fully extended, it becomes a large table. Without leaves, the table is a perfect circle and measures 47.5″ diameter. Perfect table for a kitchen or dining room, and due to size flexibility, will function wonderfully in a small or large space. The table is accentuated with a lovely warm wood grain and exceptional craftsmanship. This highly sought after table will be a wonderful addition to any modern home.
