This gorgeous Teak Danish Round extending dining table remains in original condition throughout. Mid Century Teak round dining table features a smooth oil finish and softly rounded edges conforming leaf insertions, teak glow remains in good condition, shows minimal signs of wear, resting on a beautiful thick strong base. The legs are turned taper ending in a peg foot. the frame easily expands open to receive two original leaves allowing the table to extend to a full 97” fully extended it becomes a large oval conference table without leaves the table is a perfect circle and measures 51″ diameter exquisitely constructed, characteristically sleek and functional and exudes an aesthetic beauty as well making it perfect for the modern interior. Table came as set with 4 matching chairs. Table is not marked, chairs are labeled Danish manufacturer “Oddense Maskinsnedkeri” (OD Mobler) by designer Domus. This is a wonderful table that offers two large leaves changing it from a medium size round table to a large oval. Each of the leaves is 23″ across, making this a versatile piece indeed, built to last the test of time.
