Beautiful large, extra long, Danish, teak, Mid-Century Modern Round/Oval expandable Dining Table Model 62 by renowned designer Henning Kjaernulf for Soro Stolefabrik, circa 1960s. Features richly grained, teak top raised over four tapered legs, creating a clean and elegant profile. This remarkably large dining table comes with three extension leaves to accommodate extra seating, transforming seating capacity from four to eight. With three leaves inserted, this table expands to 114″ (9.5 ft) long! Well-crafted, fully extended, it becomes a large table and without the leaves the table is a perfect round size for smaller areas, measuring 49″ diameter characteristically sleek and functional and exudes an aesthetic beauty as well making it perfect for the modern interior. When extending the table the center fifth ladder leg automatically drops/folds down and falls into place for extra support, and automatically retract back into place when closing. Maker’s name label on underside (Soro Stolefabrik, Denmark). Perfect table for a kitchen or dining room, or use as a conference table, and due to size flexibility, will function wonderfully in a small or large space.
Condition Report: Base is stable and sturdy; original surface shows minimal wear; with gentle use indicators; extension hardware operates smoothly. Color variation between the extension leaves and the table top.
