Exceptional set of six original, Spindle Back, model J77 Chairs by Folke Palsson for FDB Mobler, Denmark circa 1970’s. They are of solid wood construction featuring a concave serpentine crest rail above six turned spindles. The scooped seat is nicely formed with a shaped saddle seat resting on splayed turned legs. Makers stamp identifies the date of manufacture as 1971, on the underside of each seat. (F. D. B. made in Denmark). In remarkable condition, professionally and newly lacquered. Classic, simple petite design, iconic of Danish Modern design. Perfect for smaller spaces. They are absolutely stunning and a fine selection for any interior where the distinctive style can be appreciated.
