French Louis XV style walnut and upholstered Fauteuil armchair

Description

A remarkably well developed  French Walnut  Fauteuil, designed in the Louis XV style, the quality and craftsmanship is superb, with cartouche shaped back and paterae carved cresting, the button back, padded arms and bow front seat covered in burgundy velvet upholstery, with a paterae carved seat rail. The chair rests atop four molded cabriole legs with leaf carving & ending in scroll feet. Is in superb condition with attractive frame of good color, sturdy and comfy. This is an exceptional chair that will certainly be a cherished part of any well designed interior.
