An American painted carved wood and upholstered chair in the Continental style. Crafted with clear precision and attention to detail, this fine chair retains a rich worn painted surface over a carved frame. The chairs rest over shapely cabriole legs and terminate in scrolled French toes.  The chair is strong and comfortable, very sturdy

Description:  With a pierce cresting rail to the button upholstered back and with one conforming side, the serpentine fronted seat above hipped and molded cabriole legs.
