Set of 4 teak Danish modern ‘Juliane’ dining chairs by famous designer Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik, made in Denmark, circa 1960s. Superbly crafted in rich solid teak frames, remarkably notable are the carved sculpted backrests with contoured form, creating a stylish and airy profile. The wide and padded seats retain its original high-quality upholstery lending comfort and support. Underside of chairs marked with original manufacturer labels (Uldum Møbelfabrik 7171 Uldum, furniture makers, Danish control made in Denmark). Supported by slender tapered legs. The sculpted and formed details is what makes them so desired. These chairs exemplify the clean, sleek design technique of the Scandinavian Modern movement.
