An American ivory painted carved wood and upholstered armchair in the French Louis XV style of superb quality, by the John Widdicomb Manufacturing Company, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Description: Covered in striped fabric, with paterae carved cresting and seat rail, on hipped and carved cabriole legs. This lovely armchair reflects the quality associated with John Widdicomb. The fabric compliments the design and is also relatively neutral without bold or intense patterns or color.
