Classic mid-century modern original, round Saarinen Tulip pedestal Table for Knoll designed by Eero Saarinen (USA 1910-1961) for Knoll Furniture International in 1956. Comfortably seats four people. Features original white satin smooth laminate 42″ round 1.06 thick beveled edge top. This remarkable teak table is raised on a heavy, white cast aluminum base finished in white glossy paint. Genuine Knoll table and retains the ‘Knoll Associates Inc’ label attached to the underside. An elegant and iconic design with its distinctive tulip shape. This absolutely gorgeous Saarinen tulip table certainly stands out with its smooth and slender organic silhouette.
