Exceptional Mid Century teak sliding door credenza or server by Ib-Kofod Larsen for Faarup Møbelfabrik made in Denmark, circa 1960’s. Beautifully teak grained, extra long credenza. Features three sliding cabinet doors and four dovetailed drawers with carved pulls. The sliding doors open to reveal a finished teak interior with an adjustable teak shelf behind each door. Two small felt lined drawers framed with a maple stringer and button pulls are located behind the far right cabinet door, flanked by four dovetailed drawers with carved pulls, providing additional storage space. Stamped on back (Made in Denmark). The cabinet sits on recessed legs, the base is supported by a solid teak perpendicular stretcher. Traditionally used in the dining room, this versatile piece with ample storage would be a stylish addition to any room in your home or office and could also serve as a base for your t.v. and electronics.
Condition Report: Overall good original vintage condition, only minor color variation and wear. Very sturdy, the interior is clean; cabinet doors and interior drawers open and pull out smoothly; Overall, a very fine presentation.
