This is a very attractive American Louis XV style ebonised and parcel gilt writing table or desk retaining it’s well preserved black lacquered surface with gilded highlights, the detailed embellishments giving it the primary focus of the form, incredibly well carved, preserved under lacquer for a brilliant glow.
