Mahogany Chippendale Camelback Sofa

An elegant stunning fine work executed by the very talented company Hickory Chair, having a warm presence becoming a perfect statement piece for living room or bedroom, excellent proportions and overall form with fine stylized lines, with bowed seat offering ultimate comfort.  Resting over straight moulded square legs reinforced with their original stretchers, crafted of solid mahogany giving the sofa incredible presence and style. Note the nice arch to the rear legs which form a continuous line with the upholstered back. (See side view) the arms are carefully scrolled and restrained and of perfect form as is the arching of the back which complements the seat, the shaped back is humped in the “camel-back” form, the upholstery is highlighted with brass nail head, the carvings are well preserved with detail along the crest, upholstery in overall “excellent” condition with very minor discoloration and wear, a very sturdy and comfortable piece.
