These rare, stunning chairs feature original beautiful black upholstered seats and backrests with modernist sculpted walnut frame, with a warm walnut patina. The padded backrests and seats rest gracefully on round tapered legs with the back legs extending up toward the top of the angled upholstered backs creating uniquely artistic negative space. The curved sculptural side rails, slightly below the seat, create more open spaces while providing the added support and functionality of stretchers. These extremely comfortable chairs are very sturdy. This rare mid-century set will be a welcome addition and enhance any modern classic home or office.
