A stunning set of six vintage, Cantilevered chrome frame armchairs designed by Hank Loewenstein. In the manner of Marcel Brewer Cesca chairs. A beautiful modernist cantilever design each features chromed metal frames upholstered in original black Naugahyde over padded seats and backs with rounded arms and wooden armrest, original upholstery on chair seat and back. With the manufacturer’s label beneath the seat “Loewenstein”. Great modern form with continuous arm to leg design. Modern Classic design chrome Cantilever. Heavy weight, comfortable, an icon of 20th-century design. Clean shapes in combination with curved lines give the cantilever chair elegant form and function. The chairs are built to last the test of time and remain firm in all joints, making a gorgeous visual statement for the modern home, a set that will continue to pass the test of time for generations to come. Condition Report: Original upholstery; no tears, structurally sound and very comfortable seating. Beautiful chrome finish with some light wear, wood arms show light wear.
