A Beautiful Mid-Century Modern expandable dining table manufactured in Denmark and designed by Niels Moller for Gudme Mobelfabrik. Featuring richly grained, gleaming teak and smooth, clean lines characteristic of classic Danish design. Makers label (Gudme Mobelfabrik) is present on underside, remains in original condition throughout. This remarkable pedestal teak table rest on two V shape pedestal supports, which provides stable support. and comes with two extension leaves to accommodate extra seating, transforming seating capacity from four to six or eight, extending up to 77 1/2″, the brackets beneath release to allow the table to slide open and accept two drop-in extension leaf (available), also with brackets underneath locking them securely in place. Fully extended, it becomes a large table. Without leaves, the table measures 38 1/2″. Perfect table for a kitchen or dining room, and due to size flexibility, will function wonderfully in a small or large space.
Condition Report: Base is stable and sturdy; wood shows minimal wear; extension hardware operates smoothly.
