Description
Exceptional Danish Modern teak extension dining table produced by H. Sigh & Son’s Mobelfabrik in Denmark. This gorgeous Danish teak extending dining table remains in original good condition throughout. With an initial medium footprint, this table can also offer a generous space and double in size once its draw leaves are extended. Amazing design and construction detail, with two built-in leaves. Simply pull out a leaf on one or both ends to extend the table and create a table that will easily seat 8! This piece expands to 94 3/8″ (7.86 feet) long! Wonderfully rich teak color and grain texture throughout. The rectangular table teak surface with stylish lined inlays on the top surface, raised on strong sturdy legs, extends to a large size with two built in leaves. Fully extended it becomes a large conference table, exquisitely constructed, characteristically sleek and functional and exudes an aesthetic beauty as well making it perfect for the modern interior. This is a wonderful table that offers two large leaves changing it from a medium size table to a large table. Each of the leaves is 20.5″ across, making this a versatile piece indeed, built to last the test of time. Makers label on underside of table (made in Denmark H. Sigh & Son’s Mobelfabrik). Very good original condition firm and solid build. Sleek two-tone design and sturdy construction add to the attractiveness’ beautifully aged teak with rich patina, quality craftsmanship and exquisite design.
