Description
Mid-Century Modern walnut Bow Tie credenza/sideboard in the style of H. Paul Browning Stanley, circa 1960s. This smartly crafted credenza with uniquely ‘bow tie doors’ is a perfect collaboration of design and function. Featuring four removable and reversible cabinet doors with a rich two-toned grained parquet “bow-tie” style pattern on one side, and beautifully grained walnut wood on the reverse. The doors lift out of the tracks and can be flipped and re-configured to provide numerous decor options. Adorned with elliptical-shaped flush pulls, the doors slide open to reveal four large cabinet spaces each (16″ deep x 21″ tall x 16″ wide) for ample storage. Exquisite craftsmanship and solid wood construction, this wonderful credenza rests on brass tipped tapered legs. Great piece for many uses in a living room, foyer, bedroom or office, and given the door design flexibility, will blend well with many décor styles! Condition Report: Sturdy and stable; doors slide and reverse fittingly; minor flaw marks to wood consistent with age.
