Mid Century Italian Murano Venini Spiral Chandelier

Description

Venini chandelier, Murano Italy circa 1960, an elegant Mid-Century five-tier spiral clear glass chandelier, five layers of conforming graduated star shaped Murano Venini prism pendants in clear glass hung on the original brass frame. The chandelier measures 38″ tall & 17″ across with pendants attached. Attached chain is 14″ in length, from top of chandelier to ceiling cap, and can be adjusted.

The Italian glass prisms are each 10″ long, in a ‘quatro punta’ shape, resembling an oblong ‘X’, cut with a slanted bottom that emphasizes their shape. There are 101 prisms, all in good condition with no breakages.
The chandelier has three tiers of lighting behind the prisms, with 6 regular (A19) angled lightbulb sockets at the top, five (three upward/two downward) candelabra (E12) lightbulb sockets in the center, and one candelabra (E12) socket at the base facing downwards.

A very high-quality lighting, it will make a dramatic statement in whatever room it becomes part of.
Condition Report: Some light oxidization, glass is in excellent condition, no breaks or chips, good working condition, wiring is as-is, we recommend the wiring be inspected by the installer.  Can easily be shipped. Each glass prisms will be professionally wrapped by a certified carrier.
