An elegant, stylish, mid-century, octagon glass top with a Lucite, brass, base, coffee table in the style of Karl Springer. Features a unique pair of Lucite and brass terraced, horizontal, pyramidal form bases. The double stacked columns with brass interior columns are mounted on a beveled rectangular base. Table has two pyramidal form Lucite and brass bases, supporting a 3/4″ thick octagon glass top. Simple yet dynamic design, each base gives an enhancing effect when viewed from above. To create different looks, bases can be positioned facing out or in. This exemplary modern table has a classic low profile to not compete with other architectural design elements. A striking work of post modern design from the 20th century.
Condition Report: This item is in good vintage condition being structurally sound and sturdy with normal age appropriate signs, no visible chips in glass. with only minor imperfections, strong and sturdy.
