Description
Elegantly crafted bureau or credenza by Lane Furniture, circa 1960s. This is a beautiful example of Mid-Century Danish craftsmanship featuring outstanding, wonderfully grained walnut wood resembling a “backgammon board” pattern. Six drawers, the top two with dividers, feature stylish round brass knobs with wood grain on the flat front surface. One drawer contains Makers Stamp (Lane AltaVista, VA). Wood edging overlaps the top and sides, creating a frame-like appearance. Resting on tapered feet with an elegantly curved apron. Also available with matching headboard and hutch (sold separately). This piece will also show well as a credenza or sideboard in a living or dining room, and blend well with many décor styles. Attractive classic modernist quality and design piece for the modern interior!
