A remarkable and rare Mid-Century Modern Danish teak floating wall unit in the style of Poul Cadovious, circa 1960’s. This beautiful and versatile teak unit features three shelves, four storage case units and a mid-section vanity complete with inserts/compartments and a flip top mirror, which when closed, could function as a desk. Each unit features gorgeous teak wood tones and grain. The unit is entirely modular to suit your needs. All pieces attach to teak rails that mount directly on the walls. The rails are marked “Made in Denmark”. One upper cabinet features glass doors and two adjustable glass shelves to display books, décor, collectables. An additional upper unit features a door with lock mechanisms for storing items that require safekeeping. Further storage available in the two base units that “float” above the floor. One unit features smooth sliding doors detailed with indented pulls and contains two adjustable interior shelves. The additional base storage cabinet offers a door with lock offering extra security for valuables. Each storage cabinet is framed with beautifully sculpted and angled teak edging. This floating wall unit represents the clean lines and clever, stylish, space-saving creativity so characteristic of Danish design. Perfectly scaled for any space, it would be a functional and sensible addition to a family room, bedroom or office and make such a statement!
