Beautiful Mid-Century Modern expandable oval dining table, manufactured by Nordic Furniture Company, Ontario Canada, circa 1970. Featuring richly grained, gleaming teak and smooth, clean lines characteristic of classic Danish design. Makers Stamp (Made in Canada by Nordic Furniture Markdale Ontario) present on underside. This remarkable oval dining table comes with two extension leaves to accommodate extra seating, transforming seating capacity from four to six or eight. Two pedestal feet, connected by a stretcher, provide stable support. Perfect table for a kitchen or dining room, and due to size flexibility, will function wonderfully in a small or large space.
Condition Report: Base is stable and sturdy; wood shows minimal wear; extension hardware operates smoothly.
