Vintage Mid Century Modern Swivel Club tub lounge chair. American contemporary fully upholstered swivel lounge armchair by Precedent, a division of the Sherrill Furniture Company, Newton, North Carolina. An elegant Mid-Century Modernist armchair features rounded barrel tufted back above bow front cushion seat, and scrolled arms revolving plinth, bearing the manufacture’s label. The pattern of the fabric is matching from the top all the way to the bottom of the plinth base original upholstery. Upholstery is in overall “excellent” condition with only very minor wear and discolorations. The designer is unconfirmed by the style but very similar to the works of Vladimir Kagan or Milo Baughman. Petite scale superb original condition and very comfortable, with original label. Frame is tight and sturdy, amazing addition to a modern, mid-century home. Great looking chair to be reupholstered, perfect size and comfort.
