Set of six beautiful Mid Century Modern Walnut dining chairs designed in the 1950s by Merton Gershun for American of Martinsville’s iconic ‘Dania’ line. The solid walnut frames feature modern styling with a distinct beautiful design. Sculpturally carved with gloss, black, backrests and rich, warm walnut frames, each chair has been reupholstered in a NEW clean upholstery lending comfort, in excellent condition, all resting on tapered legs. The fabric in a light gray with a neutral pattern easily blends with many classic mid century modern tones, as the medium walnut grains contrast the fabric nicely. Crafted of walnut with black accent on the chair backs, the lines and attention to detail are exquisite. Classic mid-century modern styling with sturdy, solid construction. In very good vintage condition, gently used with minor wear. All joints sturdy and tight. Two arm chairs and four side chairs. Matching table, sideboard, and hutch available (sold separately).
