These gorgeous chairs feature beautifully sculpted teak frames and exquisite original hand-woven paper cord seats, a superb combination of materials. Clean simple design, Niels Otto Moller beautiful pieces often took up to five years to complete with attention to quality. The original cording is dense, and handwoven from one continuous piece of cord, offering comfort and support, and tightly wrapped and woven in a most attractive design. The horizontal slat backrests feature three elegantly curved bars, creating a stylish, airy profile. Supported by slender straight legs, these chairs exemplify the clean, sleek design technique of the Scandinavian Modern movement.
