A spectacular Rosewood sideboard with polished chromed base, attributed to Harvey Probber. This minimalistic rosewood veneer sideboard has a classic modern form as detailed by the sleek cabinet design and its polished chrome frame. The cabinet features spectacular Rosewood top, sides, and door fronts in a matchbook cathedral veneer. A slight recess above the doors make it appear that the top floats gently above the set of symmetrical double door cabinets. The cabinet doors are accented with simple linear black pulls over chrome back plates and supported by stainless steel piano hinges. The left double doors swing outward on piano hinges to reveal a fitted drawer with fixed dividers that are lined with silver cloth above an adjustable height shelf. Behind the right double doors, a drawer lined with silver cloth is found above an adjustable height shelf. A classic black finish on the interior compliments the rosewood case. In keeping with the symmetric format above, a slight revel below the doors creates the illusion that the cabinet floats above the sleek chrome base on four thin post legs. The polished chrome base and hinges wrap the rosewood cabinet creating a light graceful form to complete this modern design. The sideboard features clean lines that allow it to be easily integrated into any room for a look that is clean and uncluttered.
