A set of six extremely sought after, gorgeous 1960s, modern walnut side/dining chairs designed by John Van Koert for the Drexel Projection line. Featuring a full matching set of six, two which are arm chairs, each remains in original condition throughout. Features durable frames made of pecan combined with select walnut to strengthen the chairs, with sculpture backrests, and padded seats, retain its original upholstery. They remain in good vintage condition and are comfortable. The rich solid frames are very sturdy and have exceptional stunning wood grain throughout. The sculpted and formed details is what makes them so desired, very modern and elegant. The set would look amazing around a dining room table, or as side chairs. Condition Report: Original finish wear consistent with age and use, overall gorgeous surface condition. Construction is strong and sturdy. Original upholstery, with fading, no tears or rips in fabric.
