mid century Stanley furniture

Description

This teak china cabinet was made by Stanley. An American manufacturer! The teak wood exterior has a nice honey color and beautiful striated grain. Ultra durable American construction with styling from Scandinavia. Thick hardwood lies underneath the teak veneer. . . not particle board as found in Danish pieces of the same vintage. Dovetail joinery is deep and airtight after all these decades. Drawers glide easily and reliably. American pieces were built to last and it shows. Features include display case up top with sliding glass doors, two thin drawers in the middle section, and a credenza below with two deep drawers flanked by cabinets. Stamped “Stanley”
