Vintage mid-century walnut china cabinet by Stanley. This stunning china cabinet with its clean unadorned style is a beautiful example of Danish modern furniture. The lighted cabinet features an upper cabinet with sliding glass doors and a lower cabinet that includes door storage on the left and three stacking drawers to the right. A warm walnut veneer wraps the upper cabinet top, sides and interior and includes interior light, two fixed glass shelves, two sliding glass doors. The lower cabinet also finished in walnut is adorned with linear brass pulls on the door and drawer fronts and includes door storage on the left and three symmetrical stacked drawers on the right. The left door opens to reveal a fully finished walnut interior with a fixed interior walnut shelf. On the right side there are three symmetrical dovetail drawers with finished interiors. The top drawer is divided into four sections and is lined with red felt. The cabinet rests on an inset walnut base with flared and tapered peg walnut legs. This stunning versatile cabinet can be used in your modern home in the dining room or kitchen as a display/storage cabinet or in your home office or family room for display/books and storage. The top drawer is stamped “Stanley”.
Condition Report: Original finish, with minor wear and light use indicators. Drawers slide open smoothly; solid, strong and sturdy, the base is tight level and supportive, interior is clean.
