Description
Beautiful bent wood high-back “Siesta” Westnofa lounge chair. Designed by Ingmar Relling (1920-2002) in 1965 Siesta chair comes with the added headrest, made in Norway. This is one of the more iconic Mid-century modern pieces. A must-have for the MCM furniture collector. Chair is true to its name as Siesta means afternoon nap in Spanish and this would be the perfectly place to do it. Cushion on the chair and the footrest can be removed. Headrest can also be removed. One of the more comfortable chairs in this style. This chair could also be considered a sling chair as the cushion is held up by the fabric that is held up by the wood. Very beautiful and minimalist design with original label “Westnofa Furniture”.
