Description
A wonderful impressive pair of large scale, mid century modern table lamps in the style of Adrian Pearsall by Modeline, circa 1950’s. These beauties feature a double shade effect with sculptural walnut frames and three vertical arms, supporting a central brass rod with walnut pull chain, each with a cylindrical inner paper shade supported by three arcing walnut arms and outer optional mesh weave shade rests atop the inner shade. The three walnut arms raised on a Sculptural base. The on-off switch is a suspended walnut pull that floats in the middle of the brass rod. Each lamp is a remarkable 44 1/4″ tall with handsome architectural form executed in solid walnut, accented with a central brass rod and inner diffuser shade, creating a beautiful effect when the lamp is on. This is very much influenced by the space age era of the 1950s.
Condition Report: Each lamp is in good working condition, spring on one lamp is faulty, one exterior shade has a small tear in the mesh shown in photos, both lamps are overall good condition.
