Superb pair of sculptural Bilbao swivel lounge chairs designed by Vladimir Kagan for Weiman Preview. Features beautiful and uniquely stylish shaped, curved angular backrests/armrests, with comfortable plush seats. Chairs rest on circular swivel plinth black base, fitting underneath with full 360 degree turn, with self-righting mechanism always bringing chair back to the front. Retains beautiful, original, white/cream fabric. Set includes one raised left facing and one raised right facing chair. The Bilbao collection was inspired by Frank Gehry’s Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. Excellent build, frame tight and sturdy, structurally sound, great style and quality construction, with beautiful modernist design, superior durability. Maker’s original paper label affixed to underside (Preview). The low profile is perfect for relaxation and would add an element of elegance to any room.
Condition Report: Original upholstery minor wear, no rips or tears, very comfortable and supportive. Frame is sturdy and strong. Base is sturdy and chair rotates smoothly.
