Chromcraft Corporation had its beginning at St. Louis, Missouri, in 1908. It was originally known as American Fixture and Showcase Company. The typical tradition of ingenuity and ambition carried this newly founded company through various stages of expansion from a humble beginning to a well operating corporation.
The continued growth of the Chromcraft Corporation created a need for further expansion, and in 1961, a decision was made to build a 250,000-square foot furniture factory in Senatobia, Mississippi, which opened in 1962.
