A Federal style nest of three cherrywood tables,

Description: the crossbanded and line inlaid tops on tapered turned legs joined by stretchers

Condition:                        excellent vintage condition

Wear:                                wear consistent with age

Measurements:               23″ long x 21″ tall x 19″ deep

Date:                                       20th century

Extra Notes:  A very attractive and well made reproduction nest in a pleasingly warm and light timber. The three decades that followed the formation of the United States are referred to as the Federal era in recognition of the early development of the national government. The style of houses and furnishings created during this period was heavily influenced by the Neoclassical designs favored in Great Britain since the 1760s, which stemmed from a renewed interest in classical Greece and Rome
