An iconic and early production six-drawer lowboy dresser designed by Paul McCobb for his legendary “Planner Group” series, manufactured by the Winchendon Furniture Company in the 1950s. As one of the most important figures in American Mid-Century Modern design, McCobb’s Planner Group championed linear purity, architectural scale, and functional simplicity. This classic low-profile case piece is beautifully constructed from solid maple and features an elegant blonde finish that beautifully showcases the natural wood grain. Maker’s manufacturers label on the inside of the top drawer (Planner Group designed by Paul McCobb). The piece sits on its signature tapered legs and retains its original, minimalist ring/cone pulls.
