Description
This is absolutely gorgeous untitled abstract oil on canvas, signed “Proud” (lower left). A celebration of beautiful colors mixed with reds and blues creating a cheerful dramatic painting. This original vintage work of art is an excellent example of abstract style from the 20th century. Impressive abstract painting that is very colorful and is quite striking, preserved in outstanding condition. The artist of this painting has clearly taken influence from major Abstract Expressionist artists. The composition, application, and overall linear brushstrokes read similarly to an Elaine de Kooning picture, while certain aspects, particularly the black and blue linear forms clearly take influence from Franz Kline. This painting will add style to any mid-century Design house or art collection.
