Beautiful Mid-Century Modern teak rounded corners rectangle expandable dining table, circa 1970’s. Featuring richly grained, gleaming teak and smooth, clean lines characteristic of classic Danish design. This remarkable dining table comes with two extension leaves to accommodate extra seating, transforming seating capacity from four to six or eight. With two leaves inserted, this table expands to 102 1/2″ (8 feet 6.5 inches) long! This absolute jewel remains in nearly pristine condition throughout. Features a rectangular top with rounded corners, and two conforming leaf insertions, raised over four beautiful rounded legs. also fitted with a removable center support leg to take the weight off the actual sliding mechanism. The frame easily expands open to receive two original 19 7/8″ leaves allowing the table to extend to a full (102 1/2″ ) exquisitely constructed. This is a wonderful table that offers two large leaves changing it from a medium size table to a large table, making this a versatile piece indeed, built to last the test of time.
