Set of 5 teak Danish modern ‘Juliane’ dining chairs by famous designer Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik, made in Denmark, circa 1960s. Superbly crafted in rich solid teak frames, remarkably notable are the carved sculpted backrests with contoured form, creating a stylish and airy profile. The wide and padded seats are covered in a Brown Faux Snakeskin style upholstery, lending comfort and support. Supported by slender tapered legs. The sculpted and formed details is what makes them so desired. These chairs exemplify the clean, sleek design technique of the Scandinavian Modern movement.
Condition Report: Rich teak color, construction sturdy and stable; original upholstery in good condition, no tears or rips in fabric, overall gorgeous condition.
