Description
One of the most attractive works in sculpted teak by Vinde Møbelfabrik, Denmark, designed by Wahl Iversen, circa 1970s. Scandinavian inspired minimalism at its best. This mid-century modern, minimalist Danish teak highboy dresser/ gentleman’s chest features a column of six deep drawers on the left side and a cabinet door on the right, which opens to reveal six shallow solid interior drawers which roll out, offering ample storage. Maker’s stamp (Made in Denmark MV) on back. Don’t be fooled by the term “Gentleman’s Chest” – this high functioning storage piece is really gender neutral. In fact, it has drawers galore, making it well-suited as a “Ladies Chest” for clothing storage as well as jewelry and accessories. Stunning, timeless teak elegance!
Condition Report: Solid, stable construction; drawers slide smoothly, wood shows minimal wear, beautiful teak finish.
