Mid Century Modern Lacquered Console Table Lane Furniture

A lovely mid-century lacquer finished console table with smoke glass insert by Lane Furniture. The n ntable displays a high gloss ivory/cream finish with smooth, rounded edges on the entire piece. The top n nhas an inlay of smoked glass and flows down to an inset of brass banding, giving a ‘belted’ look to the n ntop and a sort raised platform appearance. The legs are fitted at each corner and are rounded on the n noutside and inside with flat bevels on each that create clever shadowing and invite the eye, (and hand!) n nto appreciate the design.
