A beautiful, Danish, extendable two-tier design mid-century modern teak and cane coffee table manufactured in Denmark designed by Trioh Mobler, circa 1960’s. Features a rectangular top with a pull-out leaf at each end making this table perfect for small or large areas, a formica insert black and white panel crafted of a retro pattern at one end of the table creates a sense of asymmetry on an otherwise symmetrical and clean lined table. Easily extend one or both pull-out leaves depending on the need.
A unique sturdy original woven cane lower shelf adds additional space for storage and brings uniqueness and modernism to this Scandinavian crafted piece. The table rests on stylish tapered legs and maintains its well preserved, original finish, maker’s stamp, beneath the table. This is an outstanding selection for serious collectors of mid-century modern design. A gorgeous sight to behold in person!
Condition Report: Original finish, cane is tight and supported, exhibit little signs of wear, with typical scuffs, overall gorgeous surface condition. Construction is strong and sturdy.
