Remarkably Iconic rare pair of double door cabinets designed by George Nelson for the Herman Miller, Primavera line circa 1950s. Iconic piece resulting from the collaboration of these two MCM Masters! Often referred to as the Primavera Line, part of the Basic Cabinet Series. A beautiful example of Mid-Century craftsmanship. Expertly crafted, these absolute jewels remain in clean vintage condition. Each features a walnut wood frame with a rectangular top, above a double door cabinet, adorned with original striking brushed polished metal pulls, that open to reveal ample storage space, each with one adjustable shelf. Makers original Herman Miller Foil Label showing the logo designed by George Nelson, on the inside of each cabinet. Practical as they are beautiful with spacious interiors. These remarkable cabinets rest on ebonized inset legs creating a stunning contrast to the walnut hue of the body. A wonderful tribute to the clean, minimalistic design and style aesthetic characteristic of the Nelson and Miller collaboration. Truly a showpiece. They are a beautiful pair of matched cabinets for a bedroom but are also perfectly suited for the living room, dining room or office, making them a wonderful addition to any mid-century modern décor. nCondition Report: Original finish, with minor wear, overall nice surface condition.
