Remarkably rare pair of American Hickory White “Genesis” Biedermeier collection nightstands, inspired by the elegant, graceful lines of Biedermeier design. This specific model, often called a Satinwood Carmel Nightstand, a beautiful example of American craftsmanship. Expertly crafted, these absolute jewels remain in clean vintage condition. Each features a single drawer adorned with original striking brass pulls over an open lower cubby flanked by beautiful columnar stiles. Maker’s original Label (Hickory White) in each drawer. These remarkable nightstands rest on polished, stylish, rounded, slightly flattened spherical, bun feet. Inspired by the restrained lines of 19th-century Biedermeier design, it is constructed from materials such as maple and wood inlay with a warm, refined finish. Each nightstand offers generous storage and a clean, architectural silhouette, allowing them to sit effortlessly in both contemporary and classic interiors. Truly a showpiece. Condition Report: Original finish, with minor wear, overall nice surface condition. Construction is strong and sturdy. Brass pulls in good condition show signs of oxidation.
