Pair Mid Century Danish Modern Side Tables Grete Jalk for Glostrup

A beautiful pair of mid-century modern, teak Danish side tables by Grete Jalk for Glostrup Mobelfabrik, circa 1960’s. Constructed of solid teak. Each feature elevated sculpted curved edge trim that runs the length of the side edges with a diminishing slope leading the eye to a vanishing point, enhancing the sleek profile. Beneath stylish stretchers accented with Jalks signature brass fastener. Both rest on stylish round tapered legs. Manufactured logo beneath (Danish Control Made in Denmark by Glostrup Mabelfabrik Mobel Fakta). The pair maintains its original beautiful teak finish with a wonderful warm hue. This is an outstanding selection for serious collectors of mid century modern Danish. A gorgeous sight to behold in person! They can be used as an end table/side.
Condition Report: The table tops have been lightly refinished, exhibit little signs of wear, with typical scuffs, overall gorgeous surface condition. Construction is strong and sturdy. Offered and priced as a pair.
