Set of six French Louis XVI style tall back dining chairs, two armchairs and four side chairs, circa 1960s. They feature carved walnut frames with fluted front legs, sabre back legs and curved back top rails with a central shell detail. The cobalt blue velvet upholstery is button tufted on both sides of the backrest. The circular seats add a modern element to the design. They are sturdy and in good vintage condition. They have been reupholstered by Josh Levin & Associates with no flaws to the velvet upholstery.
Condition Report: Original finish wear consistent with age and use, overall gorgeous surface condition. Construction is strong and sturdy. Original upholstery, no tears or rips in fabric.
